Partnering with Human Resource & Diversity Leaders
Do you wonder how men could strengthen your diversity and inclusion efforts?
Are your diversity programs translating into a work culture where women can truly thrive?
Are you struggling to build a robust pipeline of future women leaders?
If you’re confronting any of these issues:
We Can Help
- We know men and male allies. We bring decades of experience consulting with leading companies on diversity and women’s leadership. We’ve spent decades in line management and know the business pressures and the diversity challenges. We incorporate a neuroscience perspective into our change management work.
- As Male Ally Thought Partners, we share our expertise to support diversity and inclusion practitioners in better understanding – and embedding – a male ally perspective.
- Through a Diversity Strategy Assessment, we partner with D&I practitioners to explore how proactively engaging men can improve outcomes and build on the work that’s already under way.
- We advise D&I practitioners seeking to launch Male Ally Groups. Through our design process, GenderWorks provides input on key decision variables — such as partnering with your women’s network or determining the male ally group’s focus. We share best practices so you can employ these learnings in the construction of your organization’s male ally group.

Let’s Work Together to Fix it
- We offer a Leadership Briefing that explores the why and how of engaging male allies.
- Our Gender Diversity Executive Management Series enables senior leaders to broaden and deepen their gender lens. We work with leaders to explore and strengthen the links between new workplace structures — and new work practices — that are the key to real culture change. If you’re nodding your head “yes”
GenderWorks Can Help
- We work with small groups of men to increase awareness and understanding, build skills, and motivate them to become male allies. Through exploring gender in their organizations and lives, we facilitate men developing a gender lens and equipping them with skills for supporting gender balance.
- Through our Male Allies Development Program, we help men understand that there is not one, but many ways to be a male ally and we assist them in identifying their personal approach.

We Can Help
- We think you’ll find our perspective on workplace diversity and inclusion is a little different. Anchored in neuroscience, our approach employs brain-friendly practices to foster real, lasting change for individuals and organizations.
- The human brain learns best when in a positive state. Real – or perceived – threats do just the opposite, limiting our ability to listen and understand. So, at GenderWorks we’ve traded the “what’s wrong with men angle” for the “what’s right with men angle” and build from there. It makes all the difference.
- We see men not as helpers, or bit players, but as critical partners working side-by-side with women to drive the creation of inclusive work cultures and practices.
